The Knapsack Story

Founder : Scott Hudson

Finding influence through Burnie Burns, who took his love of video games (HALO) and worked towards creating a sustainable business model in an industry otherwise desolate. Knapsack was founded by Scott Hudson.

Knapsack is a community driven organisation, grown to assist and educate emerging figures and musicians in the Australian music industry on common practices and ‘Tips & Tricks’. With the intention of connecting like minded creatives to build relationships and share knowledge, that will further forge a path toward a long term career within music.

Formerly of Baked Goods and Co-Host of The Dropout (a dedicated to Hip Hop culture) podcast. Scott has a portfolio filled with three years of music and media industry experience in radio and screen. Sharing a work ethic likened to Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover), Scott shares a commitment with his muse, to both entertainment and creative media, whether it is across his own music, or documenting Australian music history on film.
